New Forum

Just to get closer to the listeners and the artists, i've put up a forum. Right now i'm still trying to figure out how it works. I'm having a hard time getting the categorys and the forum's section to display but it's up. It shouldn't be too long till you can post in it... Check it out guys!

Too bad... i'm going for an Ipod.

Remember that Sandisk Sansa mp3 player? Remember I was so proud of it? Well it doesn't worth a freakin penny if you want to know my opinion. Here is my review...

-Screen too small for video playback.
-Video format is unusual and cannot be loaded back and played from my computer.
-The surface of the player was easyly scratchable.
-It bugged a few times.
-Even deleting some files, i could still see them in my playlists (but could not play them)

So after a month of hair pulling I decided to go for the big thing. No more imitations. Just the brand thing... the one everybody's talking about... THE IPOD...

Of course, there is a difference in the price... I had a 149$ and now I have a 279$ device attach to my belt. So that involves some overtime at the job...

My girlfriend was pissed...

Lots of work for this weekend and lots of projects in my head. Just to give you a sneak peak... i'm thinking about having a second podcast with interviews and stuff.. i'm still thinking. But don't worry about the YWDP.. it's alive and kicking. And we are growing bigger and bigger. When i say bigger, i'm talking of course in terms of audiance but mostly in terms of quality. I'm starting to have some offers and I'm also getting in touch and making contact to grow this experience even bigger. The show is slowly getting where I want it to be since I now have a clearer image of what i want. One thing I know I want is FUN... and that's what iM trying to share with you all...

About the pranks and sketches, I may output a quick Best Of or Extra show with some of the best pranks and bloopers I got. Expect an extra show on yer Ipod very soon.

This month it's Adraw's month. He is the highlight of the XtraTranceCast 11 and I have two new tracks. But even with 2 tracks in this podcast, i'm not up to date with him. I also have an awsome submission from CJ.Filter, one from ADrift (a SectionZ friend) and one from Draconum... (if my memory's good).

YWDP's ranking

It's not as if i care about ranking... but... ;)

This wednesday, i had lot of spare time at my job since i had no client. So i started to google the YWDP and check what were the ranking in different places. Altough we are not yet thousands to listen to the show, I was pleasantly surprised: Here are some results when i do some search...

In Itunes:
When searched for "Trance" my ranking was 61
When searched for "House" I don't even show up
When searched for "Weekend" my ranking was 22

In Podcast Alley:
When searched for "Trance" my ranking was 31 on 183
When searched for "House" my ranking was 171 on 200
When searched for "Weekend" my ranking was 2 on 98
When searched in the "Music"section my ranking was 856 on 5801

In Yahoo's podcast section (which sucks soo freakin bad)
When searched for "Trance" my ranking was 110 on 150
When searched for "House" I don't even show up
When searched for "Weekend" I don't even show up

The Yahoo's Podcast Section was very promising at the beggining. It is still considered Beta but it sucks so bad, it's unbelievable. My feed was not updated since show 26. It's dying slowly and it seems to me that Yahoo abandoned the project.

In Google, I wasn't even able to see my ranking when I searched for House Podcast, Trance Podcast. I Quit clicking the Next button at page 40... i'm far.. very far in Google. But i'm first when you search for "Yuzzy" !!!

A New Track From Adraw

You can listen but do not touch this MP3 file with your bare hands. Everybody at Yuzzy's place has caught a virus (biological) and is sick. So you can imagine how hard it was to get a show online in these conditions... The kids are contagious and cannot go to kiddengarden and i (myself) have some gastric problems of my own... Sometimes I need this...

I'm a very techy type of guy and i gotta say that i love spending my time making music and podcasts shows in the Yuzzy's Studios but simetimes, when the sun comes out... I need a breath of fresh air. Today we went for a walk in the nature with the kids and some friends and it was just fantastik !!! Look at this picture I took... I was able to put everything away, live the present moment and enjoy... I was so freakin happy today...
