I've been totally absent from the trance and podcast scene for over 9 months now. Why? Got no time. As much as I would have liked to push some new episodes, I just couldn't find a minute to do so.

I recently launched a website called Crapules.tv (french version of The Scamtoons) and since then I had to split all of my time between work, family and projects. My website is doing great and things are starting to lift off the ground. On the other hand, I was just told that I'd be fire from my day job. The new owners of the TV station where I work just fired 80% of their staff in an effort to get rid of the union.

Right now, I'm not complaining about this unfortunate event as I may be able to plug all of my stuff back and kick in with some new episodes of the YWDP. Yes!!

Stay tuned and don't trash that RSS feed yet... I'M NOT DEAD!!!

Ok... there I am, trying to gain your lova after a lame 3 months of absence, How unloyal is that? I have no explanation for this long and lazy hideaway. But still, i managed to rebuild the show as it was when I left.

Don't expect that 3 hour long episode 52 with all the fireworks. After a few try and a hard drive crash I decided to make a show that would respect the good old YWDP ofrmat. I can't make any commitments or any promises. I won't be doing the YWDP weekly like used to. Let's just say that I'll make a show as soon as I can do one. I can say one thing thought.... 3 months was wayyy too long.

I wont try to loose myself into thousands of excuses. I just know I haven't been delivering that 52th promised show. There is no good reasons for it.

But one thing is sure... I lost almost everything on my hard drive. I was able to rescue a couple of old songs and some of my packaging, bumpers and themes elements but I pretty much lost all the good tracks I had store on this HD.

Show 52 might not be the promised one but I'm rebuilding-it and trying to get back on my feets...

I think I owe you all a good explaination on why the delay and when the next show. It's been more than 4 weeks now since I've haven't upload a new episode.

As I'm writing right now, I am in vacation for 3 weeks and I'm spending some precious time with my family. We are traveling and having some projects of our own. That's one good reason why everything is delayed...

Another good reason is that I want to make things right for this special 52th episode. The blue prints are in my head. I want it to be the V.I.P celebration instead of being my own celebration. I want to offer something special... I could have just upload a regular show, but this one might be longer and more "rafiné"...

One last reason is that some old idea I had thrown away for the YWDP are coming back to me like a boomerang... something that might kick that show a little more...

But I'm not in prison... ;)

Lova ya all. Can't wait to get this show out!!!

Ok, I said I wouldn't make a big case about number 50... I know... But guys! 50!!!

Shitty week, here in the suburbs of Montreal. It's been pouring drums full of rain and the ambiance is pretty low at work. The TV show I mainly work for is taking a break all summer. So thisFriday was their last day of work. They all go in vacations but mine are just in July. This will affect my schedule for the next weeks, but this time it should be good. I'll have more time for the YWDP and will try to bring some newer stuff to the show.

This week I lurked around the whole freaking Internet to get these awesome tracks. I really dogged under every surfaces and I think it gave some awesome results. The playlist is just fantastic! I also received a new track from Dim Van Kaiden.

Two shows in a row

First of all... 48 is for 100% House Music!!!

This will be 100% House Music! I taught it was a good idea to celebrate this awesome sunny day with some groovy beats. But don't worry. If you are a trance unconditional, check out your feed aggregator because show 49 should be up there in a minute. Yep... 2 shows in a row. One for House and one for Trance... this way, everybody is happy!!!

48... This mean we are approaching show 52! 52, in my mind, is more important than 50 since it would represent a full year of weekly shows (in theory). So that's why I'm having some plans. I want to celebrate the people for this show 52 with a special V.I.P. edition of theYWDP . You can expect some special guests and some surprises. I want to invite everyone, listener or artist, to send in your audio signatures and shout-out and participate in this celebration. I'm even thinking of having the show "live" on webcams for the recording session.

47.. is it?

47 is more than 46. Cold week again here in the suburbs of Montreal. The sun is on stryke and I can't wait to prepare the pool for the upcoming weeks. I'm working around a special episode for show #52 but I'll have more details on that. It should be fun...

I don't know what happened lately but I have to say that I'm worried about my audience. The number have dropped dramatically. I lost almost 2/3 of my listeners in a snap. I don't know if this is caused by the new project, if it has to do with my podcast host or if I got unlisted somewhere. Anyway, if there is a technical problem that I'm not aware of or if you had to re-subscribe for any reason, please let me know. I really doubt that I lost all these people because I pissed them off... LOL. Or maybe I did piss-off my audience on something. Anyway, if you have a clue, a critique, a suggestion, let me know.

An interview with Yuzzy

Tom Marquette is the the host of the Bigbrry Podcast. The Bigbrry Podcast is pretty much a 1 to 1 interview with a podcaster of his choice. I refer to as being the "Actor's Studio" of podcasting. Tom interviewed some very good podcaster. There are even some in these who I subscribed to after listening to his podcast.

Well, without making the big head, I had the honnor of being interviewed by Tom about the Yuzzy's Weekend Dancefloor Podcast. The interview was pretty cool. He is a very nice buddy, gotta tell you.

I hope this easter hollyday will recharge my batterys. I'm exausted. This week I've been fighting a flu virus again (third time) and I also had to get back on my feet after last friday visit to the stripper club. Yep, Yuzzy's been a bad bad boy! I had a good time but it took me a whole week to get back in track. I also started some work on a new podcast project I have. Third time sick. I'm just sick of being sick. The thing is, the kids are bringing back all of these virus which circulates in loop into the house. I recorded the show with 101 fever... How dedicated is this!!! About the Bum Rush The Charts thing... well we kicked ass. It Worked great. Mine Again was able to reach the charts in ITunes.

Winter will make us suffer until its very end. It's damn cold in here.. -30 to -40 with the wind factor... I hate it! Great week it was after all. I'm recording shows in advance to have a buffer. I probably wont use those since I'm trying to keep myself up to date with the submissions and stuff. But I'll have them as some emergency shows... in case I'm not getting to the finish line. Next week I might start a "featured track of the week" which will, as said, feature a track that deserve to be highlighted. The featured track will not represent a top chart or a prefered track. I still have to figure that out.

Everything is almost back to normal as there was some backfire over the schedule changes at work. It pays to yell at your boss sometimes. Although the shift they gave me is not quite podcast and family-friendly, I get to make some awesome stuff and work with great directors. But I was able to get half way to where I was before... Which should leave me more time to create a podcast.

It's been a wonderful week anyway. The sun was shinning hard and we almost forgot the cold. But we have another snow storm shiting down on our heads for the weekend. Fortunately, I paid myself a snowplow and I don't have to shovel anything but the stairs... ha ha ha.. suckers...

Great freaking show... gotta tell ya. Not a whole lot of submissions but great stuff anyway. By the way, for all the artists who listens and want to send in some tracks.. I am sorry but I don't play any remix or cover songs from commercial artists. I received fantastic tracks this weeks but they were remixed songs from commercial DJs. I do play remix from indie to indie but only in the case where the original indie artist granted permission. Like me and my latest track "The Lights" which was remixed by Jestin this time. It's actualy in 5th place on the SectionZ charts.

Remember last episode? I was crying about a change into my work schedule. This situation could have put the show in jeopardy. In fact, I couldn't see any solution. There just couldn't be any shows if the schedule was kept that way...

Well guess what!!! I was so pissed-off about this that my boss decided to tweak the schedule again in order for me to have.. A LIFE...

I think we were able to get half way. So if anything goes as planned, I should be able to deliver a show (at least bi-weekly). Personaly, I think that someone up there (way higher than the office) received my complaints... Thanks you god!

Great show but bad news...

Bad news first: There has been some unfortunate event in my life that may affect the YWDP for a couple of weeks. They changed my schedule where I work. With my new schedule, it's going to be harder to find time to do the show. In fact, it leaves me almost just the time to work and sleep. But I love doing this thing so much, I know I'll find a way around. I'll figure out something. Meanwhile, expect some delay (or even some blank weeks). Just cross your fingers....

The good news now... We have a kick ass show for the weekend. You wont be deceive... First of all, I have to thank every artist who sent me their new tracks. It is probably the most prolific show in term of submissions. I have 5 submissions in there. All new stuff that just came out of the oven... Sorry for being so freakin late. I had so many boring things to do that the show continuously dropped down the "to do" list. I was very anxious of doing the show but I had to settle a tones of papers (morgage renewal, insurances...). I also had some visit. Yuzzy's mommy was at the house so I had to take good care of her (she comes every 4 or 6 months to see the kids). Finaly I had a flu. I had a stuffy nose with an headake... God, I can't wait for summer...

Maybe the show wasn't up for your friday home-coming but at least I got it kicking for the weekend...

I made lots of great discovery lurking around the web. Gotta tell ya, I was stunned by what I found. Some of them I am waiting for approval and some of them I am keeping for upcoming shows. We finaly have a fresh new dose of Morphine this week (him along with Twin World) and a new one from Jestin. I also got in contact with Solar Synthesis which I tought they were dead... Well they are not. They are now on Acidplanet... And guess what? Adraw's having a new track online... it's in the show of course, but it's also available for download...

To tell you the truth, I almost couldn't make it to the finish line. I had a few things that was delaying my recording and I felt as if destiny didn't want me to put a show out for tonight! Maybe it was a test... to see my limit. To see how far I would go to have my yellingonline in time!!!

I'm here anyway and there are some great thing happening in the YWDP surroundings. I can't really talk about it now but there are some great stuff coming. Also, I noticed some difference in the audience stats. I can't figure what but something has happened. It's not enormous but noticeable... Welcome to all the new listeners... You'll see, we're having a lot of fun here.

I officialy launched my website and forum. The response is great. I already have some visitors, including listeners... Finaly, the guys from SectionZ, J "Z" Hernandez and Lucas gave me exposure on the very front cover page of the SectionZ website. I can never thank them enough. SectionZ is one exellent place for indie music. The tracks out there are first generation. No label or agent in between. What's up there was freshly baked and uploaded from the artists themselves. You can get tones of free exellent tracks by visiting the www.sectionzmusic.com. Thanks again guys !!!

One last thing! By a democratic vote of 3 to 0, I've decided to increase the file quality from 96kbps to 128 kbps. Of course, this means the file will be bigger... but the quality is far more appreciable. If you have an issue with this, don't hesitate to send me an Email.

It's official. I'm upgrading to 128kbps

Since no one seems to have an issue with the idea of upgrading from 96 to 128, next show will be upgraded to 128kbps. Making test, I noticed an appreciable difference in the quality. Of course, I'm still opened to comments on this.

After a few positive tests, I'm thinking of upgrading the show's data rate to increase the quality. It's not a whole lot. I'de be going from 96kbps to 128kbps. The result in sound quality is pretty appreciable and the file size doesn't increase that much... 40mb would go up to about 50mb.. of good kick ass music...

I'm having a voting poll on the forum. What do you think?

Episode 33... Wow...

I'm just tired and i need to let it all out for the weekend. It was a very busy week, trying to promote the show here and there, getting my teeth fixed at the dentist and my hair cut for myLady's. I worked a lot on doing a little banner for SectionZ and it turned out it was to heavy... 1.4mb for a flash banner!!! LOL I ended up trashing some stuff and cutting in the fat to 170k... not bad hey? I'll show you the 2 versions...

As you can see I'm going full throttle on the promotion of the show. I want some more exposure. I think we can get a notch further with this. If only I could reach the same platform as the big DJs with these independent tracks.. wouldn't that be great? And what about some air time on a radio? Or maybe satellite radio?!? Wow... I'm dreaming right there... Imagine all of our friends down here in the play-list, playing on a satellite radio... in a car somewhere downtown New-York.... Or in a shopping mall.... Well I'm done with the dreaming and decided to push it myself. So here I am buying ads and banners, trying to reach some greater networks... trying to cross promote on other podcasts... trying to build a small network of friends. Let's just croos our fingers...

B.T.W.: You might see a change in the way the MP3 file is displayed in your mp3 player. I'm trying to add some chapters to my podcast (also adding 15 minutes of useless works to my schedule...)

Remember that Sandisk Sansa mp3 player? Remember I was so proud of it? Well it doesn't worth a freakin penny if you want to know my opinion. Here is my review...

-Screen too small for video playback.
-Video format is unusual and cannot be loaded back and played from my computer.
-The surface of the player was easyly scratchable.
-It bugged a few times.
-Even deleting some files, i could still see them in my playlists (but could not play them)

So after a month of hair pulling I decided to go for the big thing. No more imitations. Just the brand thing... the one everybody's talking about... THE IPOD...

Of course, there is a difference in the price... I had a 149$ and now I have a 279$ device attach to my belt. So that involves some overtime at the job...

My girlfriend was pissed...

Lots of work for this weekend and lots of projects in my head. Just to give you a sneak peak... i'm thinking about having a second podcast with interviews and stuff.. i'm still thinking. But don't worry about the YWDP.. it's alive and kicking. And we are growing bigger and bigger. When i say bigger, i'm talking of course in terms of audiance but mostly in terms of quality. I'm starting to have some offers and I'm also getting in touch and making contact to grow this experience even bigger. The show is slowly getting where I want it to be since I now have a clearer image of what i want. One thing I know I want is FUN... and that's what iM trying to share with you all...

About the pranks and sketches, I may output a quick Best Of or Extra show with some of the best pranks and bloopers I got. Expect an extra show on yer Ipod very soon.

This month it's Adraw's month. He is the highlight of the XtraTranceCast 11 and I have two new tracks. But even with 2 tracks in this podcast, i'm not up to date with him. YWDP's ranking

It's not as if i care about ranking... but... ;)

This wednesday, i had lot of spare time at my job since i had no client. So i started to google the YWDP and check what were the ranking in different places. Altough we are not yet thousands to listen to the show, I was pleasantly surprised: Here are some results when i do some search...

In Itunes:
When searched for "Trance" my ranking was 61
When searched for "House" I don't even show up
When searched for "Weekend" my ranking was 22

In Podcast Alley:
When searched for "Trance" my ranking was 31 on 183
When searched for "House" my ranking was 171 on 200
When searched for "Weekend" my ranking was 2 on 98
When searched in the "Music"section my ranking was 856 on 5801

In Yahoo's podcast section (which sucks soo freakin bad)
When searched for "Trance" my ranking was 110 on 150
When searched for "House" I don't even show up
When searched for "Weekend" I don't even show up

The Yahoo's Podcast Section was very promising at the beggining. It is still considered Beta but it sucks so bad, it's unbelievable. My feed was not updated since show 26. It's dying slowly and it seems to me that Yahoo abandoned the project.

In Google, I wasn't even able to see my ranking when I searched for House Podcast, Trance Podcast. I Quit clicking the Next button at page 40... i'm far.. very far in Google. But i'm first when you search for "Yuzzy" !!!

So you can imagine how hard it was to get a show online in these conditions... The kids are contagious and cannot go to kiddengarden and i (myself) have some gastric problems of my own... I'm a very techy type of guy and i gotta say that i love spending my time making music and podcasts shows in the Yuzzy's Studios but simetimes, when the sun comes out... I need a breath of fresh air. Today we went for a walk in the nature with the kids and some friends and it was just fantastik !!! Look at this picture I took... I was able to put everything away, live the present moment and enjoy... I was so freakin happy today...

Sorry ofr all the inconvenient. The show was up and online very early this morning. Only I've been having some technical issues with podshow. In some case, the feed (xml, itune...) does not update as it should. The result: your feed agregator doesn't know there is a new epidoe online. I'm working very hard to fix this with the podshow support staff. In the meantime, check out this blogger page often (usualy, the show is up before 11h30 am). I'll be providing a direct link to the mp3 file that you will be able to download... Thanks to everyone... sorry about that....

Wow... Awsome week! Went to a medium women who told me enough good stuff to keep me pump up. Anyway, the show was doing a good job itself. Seriously, this show is where i can put my brain at "OFF" and not think of all the shit that surrounds me right now...

It's also a strange week. I don't know if this has to do with the fact that i'm regrouping the podcast feed under the same roof, but the number of requests for the shows has suprisingly increased very fast this month. Either most of you got my call when i said i was moving the show or it has to do with something else... But anyway, it honnors me very much.

Since the beggining of the YWDP, i have runned the show on 2 parrallel hosts. I am currently using podserve (Big In Japan) and Podshow. I was running on those 2 hosts to see whish one would suit my needs the most.

The weekend is knoking at our doors folks! Here in Montreal, it seems like the sun will be hiding. It should rain all weekend long. But there is one good thing: I don't have anything on my agenda! I will be able to improvise... no renovations...no visitiors... I should be the sole master of those 48 hours...

As you know, i got into some jurisdic problems lately. I kicked back with an electr-mega- fire-punch. For now i haven't heard anything back so lets just hope that this will die!!! So this week, i've played safe... don't want any trouble with lawsuit again...

Strange week i've had. First of all i had to stand up and protect my territory in a jurisdic situation. Now all i can do is wait and hope it doesn't get further. I learned some very deep life lessons: Most poeple are driven by money. The problem is, this money is somewhere in the pocket of someone else. The way poeple get it tells all about their personalitys...

But all this i am keeping for a new podcast of mine on whish i'm working on. Will tell you more soon. What we want now is music, party, clubs, chill, connect.... we want to leave the bad aura at home. We'll take care of this on monday...

Been going thru alot of emotions lately. Right now i'm stuggling with some jurisdic problems and i feel very small and alone compared to the big companys. But times always make its way, i hope. I can only try not to think about it.

Thank god it's the weekend. I need to clear my mind from all the bad things that are trying to surround me. I'm being sued over a TV show concept, I have some big renovations today (the freaking roof)... but worst than everything... i almost couldn't do the show!

YWDP Episode 15 - 1 Hour Special

Hola!

Your french canadian host is deep into renovation right now. Every doors in my house were leaking badly and here, in Montreal, winter is coming very fast. Had no choice than to repair these shit. I am also into redoing my freaking roof... haaaa.... But then again, i took the time to do a show. I don't know how but i did manage do make it even longer than the usual ones. Guess i like to suffer....

Yep... the show is a 1 hour special. I just had to much good stuff on my HD and just so i can keep up with the latest tracks that are coming out every weeks, i had to clear the older ones. It might happen i few times again. So expect some more longer shows...

Anyway, i just can't get enough with regular 30 minutes show. I love doing this and even if my english sounds like shit, 1 hour is not even enough for me. I would do this all day long...

If you don't like this, just send me an email. I know the file size gets also bigger and this can become an issue with some of you. I'll go with the flow...

Wow. This week passed at the speed of light. As you might already know, i work for TV station here in Montreal and this week was the new season beggining. All the season's premiere, the promos, the new look of the station... ahhh... i need to chill... please give me back my microphone!!!

This show will be a regular 30 to 40 minutes but i'm thinking of having a 1 hour long show for episode 15. I have too much good stuff that i want to share with you. I want to declutter my HD. This weeks playlist will impress you. It's all trance...

My pathetic mic stand...

It's raining shit loads outside and i had nothing elese to do than pick up some wood pieces and build myself something that could hold my microphone.

Since i bought this Microphone, i had to hold it with my hands while hosting my podcasts. I needed a mic stand real bad. The thing is, these mic stands just cost a whole lot more than i can afford.

Saturday, i saw a garage sale just at the end of my street. some old man was selling a paper stand use by secretarys only for 5$. I thought to myself; "What if i could use this mecanic arm for a microphone stand."

Wel, here is the result. An mdf piece, a 2X3 and some tyraps... And there's my new desktop mic stand! Of corse, it doesn't look pretty at first sight but it does work well.... We'll see for the next show...

YWDP Episode 12: Just Can't Stop !

I need this weekend so much! The problem is, my boss made me work at nights all summer long. And this is getting to me right now. Fortunatly, i start working on day shifts next week. But still, i really need this weekend to chill and let go all the pressure...

3 months ago when i started this podcast i decided to take a chance and try to make it a weekly podcast. But that was a big chance i was taking since my life rolls at maximum speed. I know that somewhere, sometime, i might have to skip a show or two. I have to be very realistic about it. But then, looking at it, i never skipped a show and even more than that... this week's show is longer than the regular ones. That's what happens when the music gets you and you can't stop...

I have to say that i did have to redo this show almost from the start. There were 2 tracks whish i suspect were not original tracks. And i am very picky when it comes to that. I clearly don't want any remix, mix set or cover songs from commercial tracks. The tracks i play are pure and originals. If you hear somethings that is a cover or that i didn't give the credits to the right artist, please tell me about it.

This week was chill. I "think" i'm over with all the car insurance papers and stuff. I can move on to something new. I have a pitch for a TV project i'm working on since last year and i cannot afford any mistake. So iright now, i spend most of my spare time on this demo video. YWDP Episode 10!!! Can you imagine ?!?

Yep. I reached the magic number of 10. Never tought i'de get there. In fact, this all started as a test. I wanted to see if i liked making this. Getting back to the microphone and spinning tracks like those good old days of school radio. I wanted to be the king again. Well, it turned out that i just can't stop making it. Somedays i'm so deeply into it that i would make 3 shows in a row. I hate mondays for being so far from the fridays. I'm just anxious of making a new episodes. Right now I have the microphone, the music, the softwares... but the only thing missing is your inputs on the show. Please let me know that you are alive and listening! I received a few emails back a few weeks ago... but none since 2 or 3 weeks... Please... Please....

Lots of things coming...

First, i am working very hard on something special for my 10th show. Everything should be in place just in time for next weekend...

Also, on the 12 of august, i'll be celebrating my XX anniversary. Yes, it'll be my birthday!

I am testing a few host for the podcast, like Podshow+, Odeo, and also the Blubrry community. I'm looking at every options to could help me expand the show and get bigger. There are some good chance that you'll cross my name somewhere else. One other way is that I am meeting some great poeple in the podcast community. I am trying to get some poromos exchange and some collab with other podcasters. I want to get to a new level and spice up the show a bit.

One thing i waited to long but finaly did this weekend is purchasing the domain www.yuzzy.ca . I want to concentrate everything over there. I feel like i'm split into too much corners. this will be my "portail". I'll put my portfolio, my blogs, my podcast, my softwares, cartoons... everything yuzzy will be in there. The ".com" domain was not available. The guy is in Turkey and doesn't use it. What a waste...

YWDP Episode 9

What a hot summer! We also have a hot show for this weekend. First of all, i have to say that i wanted to save time by pre-recording the show last week. How lazy is that. Well, it didn't turn that way so easy. First of all, i wanted to insert a new track i heard from DJ Amaya but didn't want to wait until episode 10. And i also expanded my podcasting friends. I browsed around podshow+ to hear some other dancemusic show and discovered this wonderful podcast. It's call "tranceNdance" and it's hosted by Canis Lupus from Bandtrax. I also got to chat with the guy on Skype and i was very happy to meet him. Very cool buddy. We agreed on exchanging promos so i had no choice than to re-record the show. This version is better anyway...

Finaly, I am working on a little surprise to celebrate our 10th Episode. You'll find out more about it next week.

One thing I may have forgot to tell you from day 1; So far, all tracks played on my podcast are available for downloads... Legaly!!! Just click on the link and you'll find your way to the mp3 files. Recording a Skype Interview with Audacity...

I know that alot of podcaster would like to have a TWIT type of Skype interview but recording it seems like a very complicated thing. Some of them will go with a recording software and none of them seems to be free.

Well i think i found i way to record Skype interviews with Audacity. Most of you podcasters knows Audacity. It's a free sound recording (multi track) software. It is probably the best free audio tool on the web right now.

To record a Skype interview, you'll need to open 3 things. Your Volume Control (Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Volume Controls), Your Skype software and your Audacity software.

Step 1 - First step is to set Skype not to handle the sound devices automaticly. To do so, open the option window (Tools/Options). On the left, click on the Sound Devices section. There you will uncheck the "Let Skype adjust my sound devices". Then save and close the option window. Skype is now ready...

Step 2 - Open Audacity. Open the preferences window (Edit/Preferences...) or (CTRL-P). Then select the Audio I/O tab on top. Uncheck these two options: "Play other tracks while recording new one" and "Software Playthrough (Play new track while recording it)". Those two box has to be unchecked. The first one will confuse you if you have to do pickups or several takes and the second one will do feedback if checked.

Then in the main window, select the Stereo Mix as your input in the dropdown menu. It should be right beside the input slider.

Step 3 - You will have to set the volume of your Skype caller and your microphone. To do so, start a test recording in audacity. Open your volume controls and set your microphone levels while talking in it. You'll see the spectrum of your voice while you record. Make it so it doesn't blast.

Step 4 - As the test recording goes, open a skype call. I made my test with the Skype test Call. then adjust the WAVE slider in your volume control. Make sure that the spectrum of the skype caller also respect the levels in audacity.

If you see that you don't have enough margin, you can lower the input level in audacity (that's the slider right beside the little microphone icon in Audacity). This controls the overall.

So in short, your mic has to be controled with the microphone slider and the skype call has to be controled with the wave slider of your volume controls.

All this was not tested with a normal call. I all made these test at midnight with no one than the Skype Test Call but, i think it will work. You can try and correct me if i'm wrong. I'll get back with some more test on this technique later...

My new Artist page!!!

As you might know by now, I'm living various parrallel lives on the web. One of them is of course my podcast but the other, is my dancemusic composer life. All these under the name of YUZZY. In fact, i had pretty much left my musician days behind sonce a few months. I was very active in the www.mp3.com era back in 1999 - 2002. But as mp3.com changed and became less usefull for independent artist, making music became a very low profiled hobby. But by playing other artists music, the inspiration came back slowly. As i was lurking around for music, i found some very great places. It's no secret that my podcast music playlist mostly come from music.download.com. I think they have the greatest storefront an artist can hope for. You can read my mind by now don't you?

Yes sir! I have my own music.download.com artist page. And here it is!!! My brand new artist page! That's where i'll store and share my music with all of you guys. We have officialy reached the amount of 1000 subscribers! Thanks to all of ya guys!!! I also received lots of good comments on the show. And FINALY... we have some submissions coming in. I received about 10 original tracks from dancemusic composers from all around the planet. And most of them are willing to give their music free on the dancefloor music dropbox. The show is growing at the speed of light. My role in all this is just connecting the artists to their listeners. I guess, it works....

BTW.: I received lots of request for this untitled song i'm working on (The one i played on episode 5). I don't want to irritate you guys another week. I'll get this track slimmed and shinned by some friend who's better than me in mastering... But to those who wants some of my track, i have a new artist page with 2 older tracks already in there... check it out... download, share and scream Yuzzy's name all over the place!!!
