Things are going very very well. The show is kicking ass tonight. I hope you'll love it too. I've added this track i've been working on. It now has a name; "I'll Fly High". This should be the final version. I am also trying some compressor effect on the show... Just to make it sound more (In your face)... but it still need some tweeking. Mastering is not my cup-o-tea.

My new Artist page!!!

As you might know by now, I'm living various parrallel lives on the web. One of them is of course my podcast but the other, is my dancemusic composer life. All these under the name of YUZZY. In fact, i had pretty much left my musician days behind sonce a few months. I was very active in the www.mp3.com era back in 1999 - 2002. But as mp3.com changed and became less usefull for independent artist, making music became a very low profiled hobby. But by playing other artists music, the inspiration came back slowly. I listened to old tracks, made some minor improvement on other and finaly, got back to my composition software...

I have to face the truth now... i'm back in business...
As i was lurking around for music, i found some very great places. It's no secret that my podcast music playlist mostly come from music.download.com. I think they have the greatest storefront an artist can hope for. You can read my mind by now don't you?

Yes sir! I have my own music.download.com artist page. And here it is!!! My brand new artist page! That's where i'll store and share my music with all of you guys. I just updated the page just so you could have my latest song. It's called I'll Fly High and it should be up in a couple of days. Until then you can always catch Deeper and Dream Of A Princess.

We have officialy reached the amount of 1000 subscribers! Thanks to all of ya guys!!! I also received lots of good comments on the show. And FINALY... we have some submissions coming in. I received about 10 original tracks from dancemusic composers from all around the planet. And most of them are willing to give their music free on the dancefloor music dropbox. The show is growing at the speed of light. My role in all this is just connecting the artists to their listeners. I guess, it works....

BTW.: I received lots of request for this untitled song i'm working on (The one i played on episode 5). I don't want to irritate you guys another week. I'll get this track slimmed and shinned by some friend who's better than me in mastering... But to those who wants some of my track, i have a new artist page with 2 older tracks already in there... check it out... download, share and scream Yuzzy's name all over the place!!!

I survived this car accident !!!

Everyone who witnessed the accident tought i had dyed in this car accident.

There was lots of traffic when i was hit by a van. He then threw me from the right lane to the very left one making a 360 in front of the 100kmh jam packed traffic. I then hit the concrete that seperate the highways and BANG! another little car gives the final shot. I then eared all the other cars skiding and passing on every side of me. At one point in all this, i even had the van's day light and radiator right in front of my face. I felt like i was in a scene of the "Final Destination" movie.

That's my story. Miraculously... i don't have a scratch. My neck hurts a little but i made all the checking at the hopital and everything's fine. Everyone who witness the accident said it's a miracle that i didn't die. But for me, my very luck was the fact that i didn't had my two daughters in the cars. The oldest was begging to come with me on this trip but i couldn't bring her for logistic reasons... Thank god...

That happened 3 hours before the recording of Episode 6. You might have noticed that i was less hip and present... altought the playlist is exellent... I just didn't feel like talking about this. I might drop a word or two in episode 7.

I now have all the gear i need to sound like a pro. So if you still think the show is crap, i can't put the fault on the hardware. You'll have to blame your french canadian host.

Show 7 might be a little delayed. I had the worst day of my life this week. I came close to dying in a very serious car accident. My car is just total loss. But i guess god didn't want me lrking in his refregerator yet. I don't have a scratch... I'll show you my car and tell you more about this story on the blogger page very soon.... That said, i am very proud of show 7. I have the best playlist yet and WE HAVE A SPECIAL SUBMISSION from a composer....

No more Episode 1 ???

This week Big In Japan (my podcast host) were trying their new (and crappy) version. That made the site, as i found out by myself, very unstable. I tryed to upload the Episode 5 twice but it said the file was too big. So i thought i had reached the limit of storage and had to delete some shows... what i did.

But even then, it didn't let me upload my file saying it was still too large. So i decided to wait and see. An hour after, as i logged in, it went back to the original site, not the beta. And everything came back to normal...

Now i can't go back in time and upload the episode 1 in its original place. If i do this it will take place afetr episode 5 and some of you will have the show twice on your HD. So i'll put it back on special request...

Episode 5 show notes
­The show celebrates its 5th episode and i should have all of my gear (mic and mixer) up in a few days. With a little bit of luck, episode 6 should be in the "pro format". I've also thrown in my latest composition. It's a melodic trance track that is still under construction but i couldn't wait to share the Beta version. Hope you'll like it. As soon as it's done, i'll put the final version in the Dancefloor Music Dropbox.
